Cameron brings a wealth of collaborative leadership and IT project management knowledge. He comes to us from First American Title, where he was the head of application development, performance and support, overseeing all First American Title applications as well as enterprise financial systems; enterprise financial and operational reporting; and business intelligence. He also served for a number of years as First American’s Vice President of Infrastructure and Chief Technology Officer. In his tenure at First American and elsewhere he has managed multiple enterprise application projects.
Chris Shultz has more than 20 years of experience managing, designing and implementing student information systems in higher education. One of his most significant projects involved managing the implementation of UCI’s financial aid management, network and database systems. Chris was also an active participant in the project team that determined requirements and facilitated implementation of the campuses Student Billing System. Although he was continuously involved with IT initiatives on campus, Chris took a seven-year hiatus from an IT role to lead the UCI Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships as director from 2007 to 2014 before joining the SIS Project as the technical manager. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in information and computer science and is a proud alumnus of UCI.
Marie Alford is the overall Functional Manager, leading the team of Functional Leads on the SIS Project. Marie possesses an exceptional knowledge of higher ed processes and procedures; she has been the Director of Admissions since 2006 at California State University, Long Beach. She also brings with her a strong foundation of technical knowledge on student information systems. She has worked with both homegrown and vendor-delivered systems during her time at Texas Tech and Cal State Long Beach, as well as developing and implementing student information system training for faculty and staff at Texas Tech.
Senior Project Manager
Mike is a Project Management Professional (PMP) and ITIL Expert with more than 20 years IT experience. He has manged projects in higher education completing applications development and infrastructure projects across functional business areas. Additionally, he has led efforts of geographically disparate teams to accomplish software implementations, conversions/migrations, and testing. He is formally trained in the disciplines of Lean IT, Business Relationship Management, and Organizational Change Management.
Ellucian Project Management
Howard has xtensive experience leading businesses Information Technology improvement initiatives in Federal, State, Public and Commercial entities such as the delivery of Enterprise Resource Programs (ERP) implementations including accompanying Business Process Reengineering, e-Commerce Strategies and Systems Integration. He has 25 years of combined experience in information technologies within federal, state, commercial, and public sectors holding Director, Program Manager, Project Director and Manager positions.
With many years of experience in higher education and information technology, Vicki has an excellent understanding of the use of technology to further the strategic goals of a college or university. She has worked in user areas (Registrar’s Office) and in information technology; in university, college and technical institute environments; in single-campus, multi-campus, and consortium environments.
Darlene Lucero has worked in higher education for more than 30 years. She started at the University of New Mexico as an admissions data entry clerk and retired as an associate registrar before joining Ellucian, where she has worked for seven and a half years. Darlene serves as the consultant for Records & Registration, and overall lead for Student consultants. She graduated from the University of New Mexico with a focus on organizational communication.
Kelli K. Flynn, PMP has been a technical PM and leading data migrations for over ten years. An avid fan of work smarter, not harder, she focuses on technical solutions that improve the student, staff, and faculty’s overall experience. She started as a client, first working front end customer support before moving into a role within IT. There she served on the implementation team and later as the campus security administrator and instance management PM. She joined Ellucian in 2004 and has a proven track record of successful implementations, ranging from small campuses to global institutions.
With approximately 10 years of project management experience, Angie has the skills and experience to ensure the successful completion of all project management activities. She has a full range of knowledge in Recruiter software. Angie also has approximately six years of professional services experience within the higher education industry.
Cheryl Cline is responsible for the successful delivery of all Ellucian reporting and analytic products, including Banner ODS and EDW. She oversees all the Reporting deliverables for the SIS Project.
Technical Project Manager
John is PMP certified with over 19 years in service delivery and project management in Banking and Higher Education Technology. He holds a Green Belt – Six Sigma Certification and background in statistical process control and business process analysis. He has also Managed Rapid Deployment Implementations of Ellucian Elevate and Banner Integrations.
Regional Delivery Director, West
Christine is an accomplished Services executive with a deep understanding and experience in in the Hosted software industry for Higher education, K12 and Government verticals. Her work experience in professional services spans industry leaders such as Ellucian, Kronos and Dell. Her account base has included leading complex on premise and hosted HCM and ERP programs with UC Berkeley, UC Santa Barbara, the Claremont University Consortium, Villanueva, Auburn, Harvard and MIT amongst several others.

Associate Vice Chancellor, Enrollment Services
Brent Yunek is the Associate Vice Chancellor of enrollment services, which oversees Admissions and Relations with Schools, Center for Educational Partnerships, Financial Aid and Scholarships, and the University Registrar. Brent Yunek has served the University of California, Irvine for 24 years with experience working with academic administration, faculty, staff and students. He has served in a variety of key roles including assistant vice chancellor of student affairs; which provided leadership on planning and resource management for the entire division. He previously served as the acting director of Admissions and Relations with Schools, the director of Financial Aid & Scholarships, and was the acting registrar in 2005.
Chief Information Officer and Associate Vice Chancellor, Office of Information Technology
Dana Roode is Chief Information Officer (CIO) and department head of the Office of Information Technology at the University of California, Irvine (UCI). He has worked at UCI for more than 30 years, starting out as a programmer and systems administrator before becoming manager of system programming for the UCI Computing Facility. As computing evolved from central to distributed facilities, he led the implementation of UCI's Distributed Computing Support group to provide structured, collaborative UNIX system administration services to research groups and departments. He served as assistant vice chancellor of Network and Academic Computing Services (NACS) for nine years before becoming UCI's first CIO in July 2009 as part of UCI's IT consolidation initiative. He has also served as vice-chair and chair of the University of California Information Technology Leadership Council.
